Drifter of Dreams
A hint of glitter drifted down
A figure stirred in the sea of silk waves,
Yawning, he rippled, capturing the anxious mist;
Beyond those eyes were blue anxiousness.
Lay there, slumber, and wait.
Watch the dolphins ride the seaside of space
As the stars dip down to cast a sugary silence;
He shall lay there, dream, and wait.
A light fresh breeze of lavender
Breathes a swirl of shimmer onto the floor,
Shiny, flat marble is cold never again.
The scent of fairy dust
It lingers in the lazy warmth.
She shall skim the milky highway,
Of moon dust and cake cloud
And drift to the opal rimmed window.
She'll take me away from my palace;
A kingdom of rose littered tables
The helping gestures at every dark corner.
Jeweled topped towers and daimond clad walkways,
No more turqouise and gold.
She will come, on a platinum flying carpet;
Long black hair, creamy brown skin
Her eyes two pools that speak of Utopia,
A glowing essence all about her.
Long velvet britches, embroidered in rubies
A wine coloured tunic with golden lace
A cape made from the finest satin.
She is a mystic drifter of the stars,
They all bow in respect to such a fine being
Scoop up the lights of the city,
And put the bustle to end.
There is a pulsating light at the window,
As she whispers......
"Welcome to dream land!"

The only complaint I have is the final line. "Dream Land" makes me think immediately of Nintendo's Kirby series, and, beyond that, it seems a little anticlimactic compared to the rest of the piece. Still, I think the solution could be as simple as removing the exclamation point, or calling it the "land of dreams" instead.
